“What if you had never received a Christmas present?”

“Christmas for the Kids 2011”

I was standing in the midst of a lot of children.  They were surrounded by stinking, smoking and raw garbage from the next door city of over three million people.  Some of the children had no parents, most had a mother or grandmother.  Their total wealth was their dirty, torn and often ill fitting clothes on their backs.  Oh yes, they also had bags and baskets filled with scraps of garbage they had collected to eat or sell so they could buy food.

My accompanying Filipino pastor looked at the children and then at me.  He said most of these children have never received a Christmas present.  That statement became a branding iron on my brain and memory.  I literally wept.

We have over 600 sponsored children who deserve Christmas presents in 2011.  What about their brothers and sisters as well? 

For all the these children, their siblings and parents to receive a Christmas present will be expensive.  We also include a gift for the pastors who care for the children.

 Our best estimate for a budget is at least $7,500.

 Giving A Christmas to Remember

 You can help us put a big smile on the faces of our sponsored children this Christmas. Could you and we see to it that Christmas 2011 is a happy, happy time for them? Would you like to bless one or more of the poorest of the poor families in the Philippines?

 At the end of this message is an opportunity for you to personally participate.

We have been talking about and praying about what God wants us to do this Christmas for the 605 children He has given us in the Philippines. What we have heard is that God wants to bless families. We wondered how we could justify giving a gift to one “sponsored” child in a family while their siblings watching don’t receive anything at all because they are not “sponsored.” That would be cruel and we could never do that, but we need your help because it is a big undertaking.

It is amazing to see the number of families God has touched and changed as a result of the children being sponsored. It is common for an entire family to be saved and begin attending church and Bible studies for discipleship. We believe God wants us to bless them at Christmas. Some of them have never received a gift or had a special meal for Christmas. Here’s the plan and how you can participate.

We will be sending extra money for Christmas to the FCM pastors in the Philippines who care for the sponsored children. This is much better than trying to send gifts and food. The shipping costs are extremely high and there is sometimes a problem getting items through government customs. We need at least $7500. We need to receive the money by Thanksgiving so it can be sent to the pastors in time to prepare for Christmas.

 A SPECIAL NOTE TO SPONSORS: Thank you for your faithfulness to provide for the children you sponsor. Your gifts are having an amazing transforming impact on their lives. We know some of you would like to send gifts for the children you sponsor. We ask you please do not send gifts for your sponsored children. Instead consider giving an extra donation to provide Christmas for them and their families. Your money will buy so much more in the Philippines and does not have the cost of shipping. If you wish to send a card, we would be very happy to send your cards to your sponsored children. Please send the cards so that we receive them by November 10.

To help give the best Christmas ever to our kids and their families, send your gift before Thanksgiving. Please be generous. You will be blessed in return.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR YOU 09/27/2011

Joel 2:28-29 (NLT) “Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions.   In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants—men and women alike.”

Lord, we ask that you open our hearts and minds to you voice of revelation.  Give us faith to believe every word and message from you.  May we be diligent to offer back to you our pinpoint obedience.

This is a day of great opportunity for you.  Open your ears and brighten your eyes for I shall reveal things today about which you know nothing.  Do not sleep or slumber.  Arise and shine forth that bright light that you are.

The devil will be trying today to pull the wool over your eyes.  Be careful of his deception.  Resist him at every turn.  Take no chances with him.  Turn your face and ears toward God.

Today, ask God to give you a thirst and hunger to understand dreams and visions as a major way God will speak to you.  Be curious.  Dig deep.  Your reward is great if you faint not.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR YOU 09/17/2011

Genesis 12:3 (NASB) “And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”

Your eyes will be opened wide this weekend.  Suddenly, you will have understanding whereas before, you were blinded.  Once you see, fall to your knees at least in your heart and repent before the Lord.  Then repent before others as God convicts you.

Yesterday morning, I was grumpy and corrective towards my wife.  I thought nothing about it except that deep inside I felt I had hurt the woman God gave me as gift from heaven.  Later in the afternoon, as I was working on some things, the Holy Spirit strongly convicted me that I had truly sinned against my wife.  My heart ached until I could get home to her, apologize and repent.  Whew!

Her generous forgiveness, grace and love were like sweet honey.

There is someone in your life that needs to see and feel your repentance.  You will need to apologize from a sincerely broken heart.  Grab hold of your humility with both hands and pull it up and over you.  Do the right thing.

 

 

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR YOU 09/15/2011

Colossians 3:2 (AMP)  “And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.”

The devil wants you to look down.  The Lord wants you to look up.  You get to choose every moment of the day.  Today, I have a challenge for you to make a project out of looking up all day long.

For example, rejoice with us that on September 9 at our Fullness Friday Revelation Session 2, we had people registered from 20 nations, 46 states in America and a total of 613 individuals registered for the webcast.  I challenge you to “look up” with FCM about the remarkable success God has given.  Session 3 is 7:0o p.m., October 14.  Have you registered?  If no, go to our word of the day and register.

I pray for you today that you will concentrate on what is good about your life.  Bring to your mind those things that perhaps you have long ago forgotten.  Make a list of them and place that list on your mirror, fridge or some other place easily seen by you.  God will use this to make adjustments in your attitude for good.

A distraction is coming today.  Do not be alarmed when you learn of it.  Let your heart be at peace and respond in the Spirit.  Yield to the Holy Spirit.  He will direct you to Jesus and help you make Him Lord of everything concerning you.

Give testimony today to those around you of what God has done for you. 

I pray you will stop worrying about the threat of cancer.  It is plaguing your.  Stop it and look UP.  Be healed, be free and be deeper in love with Jesus today.  We had a cancer scare this month at our house.  But God is bigger and higher.  We have no cancer!

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR YOU 09/14/2011

Proverbs 21:1 (NASB) ^“The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes.”  Proverbs 21:1 (MSG) “Good leadership is a channel of water controlled by God; he directs it to whatever ends he chooses.”

You are troubled or may become troubled over the political unrest in America.  Perhaps the Lord will speak to you in the words that follow.  Read prayerfully what follows;

For years, I ran away from any involvement in political things.  I grew to hate politics.  And because of my attitude, I saw only the negative and disparaging in the debates and rhetoric.  But over time, the Lord has shown me the need to embrace politics in the same as Jesus did.  He corrected and chastised leaders who were false and hurtful to people (Pharisees and tax collectors for example).  But at the same time, He did not turn nor run away.  He embraced those who were doing good and blessed them even if they were not perfect (Caesar for example) Jesus stayed engaged in the daily race.

The Lord says, “I want to tap and commission you to become involved.  You are not to become corrupted by politics like some others.  Be alerted to that danger.  But dig in and find your place, says the Lord.”

Lord, I pray for the one reading this message right now.  Place your hand upon them.  Send them forth into the battle in their own way to the limits of their abilities.  Reward them in their inner person for their obedience and faithfulness.

I’M CONCERNED! HOW TO HEAR GOD IN FIRES AND FLOODS?

This Friday night, 7:00 p.m. Central Time, September 9, I will be sharing Session 2 of 10 from my forthcoming book on “Revelation of God’s Mysteries and Truth.”  Session 2 is specifically “How to Hear God’s Revelations” and “Why Is Revelation So Important.”

Last Saturday a prophet who is so accurate on what he has told me in the past called to say, “Ras, God says for you to Pick up the Rod of Authority I Have Given You to Bring My People out and through.  Pick up the rod!”  Immediately, I remember that just outside my study door is a beautiful olive wood rod given me three years ago in Israel.  I now have it on my desk, ready for Friday night Session 2.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR YOU 09/04/2011

May your eyes be lifted up today.  As you look up today, you will experience the positive and uplifting of your spirit.  Heaven is your resting place.  May that resting place hoover down over you like a bubble.  I pray heaven will consume you and overtake you as you choose to look up.

Be encouraged today for you Lord is very near.  Do not be surprised if you see an angel if only for a moment.  Perhaps you will feel the brush of wings.  Maybe the angel will drop a feather you can find.  Keep looking up.

Know today you are my chosen one.  I pray you will reach up and grasp that truth of your heavenly identity and never let it go.  May the devil no longer rob you of this great truth.

The Lord loves you, cherishes you and is so proud of you.  Give Him thanks.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR YOU 09/03/2011

Come close to the Father today.  Let Him smell your clothing.  Dare to be intimate with Him.  The Lord wants to know you better, even though He already knows everything about you.  I pray that you will be humble but bold to come to the Father.

Last night, I was lying on my bed watching a special TV program and getting prepared for my night time reading when a knock came at my door.  In walks my 12 year old one and only Robinson granddaughter Katy, being the daughter of my son Kevin, with a smile and laughter on her face that would charm a stone wall.  She immediately jumped on my bed and nestled close to my heart.

We talked “her language” for quite a while as she told me stories and answered some of my questions.  It was glorious.  And after a while, Kevin comes in and plops down with us and we chat about fun things and get caught up on everyone’s life.

As Katy and Kevin left my bedroom, I spoke blessings on them from my heart.  They made me deliriously happy and I wanted to bless them back again.  A time will yet come when I will bless them much more.

My prayer for you today is that you will come close to your Father in heaven today.  You can cheer up His day.  And as you do, He will bless you.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR YOU 09/02/2011

I pray for you today that your heart be lifted high above the concerns that rob your joy.  May the eyes of your heart be brighter.  May your ears heart the gentle voice of Jesus.  You will sense His presence today.

This has been a trying season for you.  You have felt pangs of loneliness like few other times in your life.  At times it is as if you are on an island by yourself with no one to help.  The enemy has caused you to believe a lie. Rebuke and resist the devil today.

I pray for this to be a day when you will see the Lord in front of you, just as David testified.  I pray you will see Jesus everywhere you go and in everything you do.  May He ever be with you and make His presence known to you.

You need extra strength today for all you will be facing.  You will gain that strength as you draw closer to the Lord.  Therefore, seek Him while He may be found.

I pray that God will show you just how special and chosen you are.

Acts 2:25-28 (GW)  “This is what David meant when he said about Jesus: ‘I always see the Lord in front of me. I cannot be moved because he is by my side.  That is why my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices.
