Prophetic Intercession Like A Giant Wheel

I, the Lord, desire that you see the power of your prayers and intercessions.  You are standing in the gap for nations, this is good.  This finds favor in My heart and thus I want to explain something to you.

The hub of this prophetic intercession wheel is your fervent prayers for the nations with clarity and unity.  First you are to be clear and bold about your mission when you pray.  And then you have submitted yourself to one another in unity as did the disciples on the rooftop “upper room” after Jesus ascended.  Remember that the world was changed and is being changed by those unified believers paying in unity with clarity for the nations of the earth.

The spokes of the wheel are the nations I put on your heart.  Through you, those nations will be greatly changed to align with My purposes.  Prepare yourself for the shock of your life as you literally see all this unfold in goodness before you that you have prayed.

Finally, the rim or the part that touches the ground is the will of God in your heart that leads you to seek and obey My mandates.  You are about to receive many mandates.  Be ready to go or stay, to run or sit, to intercede or just wait.  Listen carefully.  Obey fully.

President Obama had his lip split two days ago while playing basketball.  It took twelve (12) stitches to repair it.  Pray that now he will be more careful in what comes from his lips to his own nation and to other nations.  Pray that the twelve stitches will quickly heal his lip.  Those twelve stitches represent authority and government.  Pray that he will  submit himself to the twelve for his own healing and for the healing of America, the Koreas and China and other nations.  Pray that God himself will choose the twelve.

Springtime in Winter Phenomenon

You will see a thawing, a season of remarkable revival.  Kings will sing in the choir, dance in the altar, humble themselves before Me and their fellowman.  Good and better times are on the way. Your faith will be tried as you seek to take in and process My goodness coming in an altogether unexpected way.

Kings will step down from their arrogance and pride, humbling themselves in apologies and restitution.  These are things only I can do, says the Lord.  But you will rejoice greatly in these.  Be patient and watch me work.

Kings will be observed playing, dancing and singing in the school yard.  In the midst of discontent, I am sending an “Indian Summer” in the midst of the times of cold.  Cold shoulders.  Cold hearts.  Cold relationships.  Cold wars again.

Your prophetic intercessions especially for the nations of the U.S.A. and Kenya have found My heart.  I have responded.

Now offer thanksgiving to Me as never before.  Join the singing, dancing and reveling in the goodness of your God and true King Jesus.

 

 

 

THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS UPON US – CLAIM IT! LIVE IT! SPEAK IT!

The Lord impressed upon me the need to step out and inherit my gifts of prophecy and intercession on behalf of the nations. “Claim It, Live It, Speak It!” He said. Specifically, I was to accept my inheritance of the United States and Canada. He placed in my hand a necklace that I had bought 15 years ago, when I was just a fledgling in my relationship with God. The piece is a small sphere, representing the world, and it is the size of a large marble. Inscribed on the sphere are precious stones representing each continent. The world has all the meridians inscribed in fine, thin gold filament. The globe is then set into a cage of four bands of silver which come together (representing the four ends of the earth) and meet at the yin and yang symbol. The cage locks down and protects the entire globe of precious stones from harm.

On this globe, the United States and Canada are represented by turquoise to honor the inheritance of the Native Americans. The African nations are represented by the brownish red color of tiger’s eye bringing to mind the African lion, the symbol and the African heritage. Mother of Pearl represents the North Pole, South Pole, and Australia. The seas and oceans are the intense blue lapis lazuli, a stone prized in the ancient days.

God impressed upon me that the yin and yang symbols stand for keeping world in balance, free of war, poverty, and destruction of it precious resources. As he did with Adam and Eve, He has placed the earth in our hands for prayer, protection, and to care for it so that it can feed us. If we kill the world through our own abuse and excesses, we in turn kill ourselves.

Like a prayer stone, I rolled the globe in my hand and prayed this week, and I felt the turquoise and tiger’s eye stones heat up. I felt strongly that we needed to align ourselves with our network of missionaries in the field and to pray for them like never before in order to fan the flames of revival; that we were to start positioning apostles and disciples in the field so they could plant new seed and build the bonfire of revival in other nations. We need to get in place quickly, because the momentum of revival, the passing of the torch to light the fire in the next nation needs an orchestrated, continues hand-off, just like in the passing of the torches in the beginning of the Olympic Games.

Just as God warned Ezekiel that he must go out to the Israelites, that he had to live among them and bear their burden, so that Israelites could recognize the sins of their people and repent, we too must go out into the world and suffer our travails for each country. Ezekiel was given the order to warn the Israelites that they must listen to the word of God, must change from their ways of the past, or God would destroy the people. If Ezekiel failed to warn them, then he too would be killed for not obeying God’s order.

Ezekiel 3:16-19 At the end of seven days the word of the LORD came to me: “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.”

We must go out there and feel and see the burdens of the people, and bring them salvation and hope, so that they can receive God’s covenant and save the world for our children and future generations.  Only in this way will we inherit God’s promise found in Isaiah 54:9.

Isaiah 54:9-13 “So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

“Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted, I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise, your foundations with lapis lazuli. I will make your battlements of rubies, your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones.”

“All your children will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their peace.” AMEN

The Women of Kiberia, Nairobi, Kenya

Kenya—Aimed skyward from photos atop a train, the eyes of women pierce a rooftop landscape in Nairobi’s Kibera slum. The display, part of a global art project, paid tribute to women from Africa, Brazil, India, and Cambodia.

To find the picture I want you to see and a short articles, go to November, 2010 issue and search for the picture of the female eyes and click on it.  It is difficult to find.  But you will be blessed if you get there.  Be sure to pray.

Kenya – God’s Calling

Mi Casa es Su Casa is Spanish for My House Is Your House.  I think of the Biblical “upper room” this way.  It was the in the “upper room” that Christianity in practice actually began – in prayer.  Read this: “When they had entered the city, they went up to the upper room where they were staying; that is, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.  These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.  Acts 1:13-14 (NASB).   In praying for Kenya and it’s people, let us consider that great signs and wonders await us as we pray.  We invite you into the “upper room” with us and many other dedicated prophetic intercessors.  May the Lord Himself speak to  and guide you.

A resource to help get you acquainted with Kenya follows.  It has greatly helped me in knowing how to pray.  It is found at:  http://www.alertnet.org.   It offers comprehensive and detailed.  You will find there expansive resources about all of Africa but Kenya in particular.  I have read and prayed for hours already over the stories and data share there.  Try it out.

If your heart is strong, look at some pictures of the slums of Nairobi in a place of about 900,000 population:  http://bit.ly/a9fErX.  I studied these pictures two years ago in preparation to visit the children there and share the gospel in the area.  After looking at the pictures, I told the Lord I was not sure my heart could take my seeing and walking in such a place.  His answer to be was, “Not at this time.

I believe the time has now come for me to take that trip.  Please do pray for me.

Pray that God grants us revelation about Kenya and how we should pray.  Some issues so obvious on the surface:  Corruption in government, Openness to the good news of Christ, Protection from the Islamists, Favor with God and man to establish relationships and connections.

President Obama’s Winter of Discontent – A Spiritual Gate?

God is working an opportunity for America to be spiritually broken along with being financially and morally broken.  First the natural and then the spiritual.

Obama lost control of Congress.  The GOP now has 233 seats, the democrats have only 174.  The GOP gained six seats in the Senate.

By Obama’s own words, “We took a shellacking” in the November elections.

The spiritual:

If ever you wanted to pray for America to become all God intends, this is the window of opportunity of a lifetime.  Many are on their knees emotionally and financially.  But pray that God will start at the top with our national leadership and bring us to our knees as a nation on our knees.

Don’t wait for some other time when you may feel more like praying.  Pray now.  Pray hard.  Pray without ceasing.  Pray in faith, believing our God want to turn the heart of the king.  He want to turn the king’s heart like He turn the channels and rivers of water.  Ask Him for transforming revival the reforms America’s foundation, our structures, our gates and our treasures.

Can you hear me from where you are?  Then pray.

Reading the Clouds

Two clouds (prophetically speaking) drifted over yesterday full of Holy Spirit rain for my soul, and maybe yours.  The first one is very personal.  The second has national and international implications.  I share them for your edification as a fuel for your fire of prophetic intercession for possessing nations with mandates.

Here is what I came away with from that Handel’s Messiah presentation.  Something really, really good is about to happen.  Surely there will be the bad and the disappointing but God is about to bless us supernaturally.  Let us rejoice and be glad.

Cloud two: The Elijah List and Breaking Christian News that came yesterday contained a prophecy from Kim Clement.  I have read many of his prophecies.  But this one really struck home to me for America.

Recoiling and Restarting in Washington D.C.

As President Obama returns home, the Lord has impressed me with this:
November 10, 2010.  Little birds may tell what you say.  You are in danger of playing into the hands of the enemy of the souls of man when you criticize the king and make light of him.  Once you begin that chatter it is difficult to stop.  There can be a reputation built that you are one who criticizes and curses those in top authority over you.  This is not good.  You have assumed that you can speak these things to those closest to you and in the most private of situations.  But I tell you those little birds are always listening.  They fly away to other birds and the stories can become legendary.  Instead, pray for the king and choose to see the good to declare it.  This will change everything.
Ecclesiastes 10:20 (NLT) “Never make light of the king, even in your thoughts.  And don’t make fun of the powerful, even in your own bedroom.  For a little bird might deliver your message and tell them what you said.”

Pray today that the new leadership team in governments will quickly convene and find the mind of the Lord (whether they would call it that or not) for the economic, political and legislative agendas.  May there be major breakthroughs in relationships that will bless the people of America.  Let us see the hand of the Lord strong to bring revival of spiritual maturity in Christ.

Pray for current House Speaker Pelosi and for the new House Speaker John Boehner.

INTRODUCTION TO PROPHETIC INTERCESSION AND MANDATES

Our new blog on “Prophetic Intercession to possess nations with mandates” has grown very fast.  God is blessing it.  The Holy Spirit is speaking and it is obvious we have been graced to find a new way (for us and you) to reach nations to disciple them and minister God’s good news.  We hope you are enjoying the experiment with us!

Some have asked, “What is prophetic intercession to possess nations with mandates and how does it work?  What is the prophetic?  What is intercession?  How does one pray this way for the nations?  What is a mandate and how does a mandate help?  What do you mean by the “Upper Room.”

Our current focus in the “Upper Room” is on the nations of U.S.A. and Kenya.

Today we start giving definitions of terms and explaining how the prophetic intercession with mandates works.  We believe you will enjoy it.

DEFINITIONS AND EXPLANATIONS
(Practical, not technical)

PROPHECY – Prophecy is an inspired utterance of a prophetic.  It communicating what God has said.  It is based in prayer and intercession for God and His word.  It can be a prediction, correction, instruction, inspiration.   It is intended to build up (edification), stir up (exhoration or encouragement and to cheer up (comfort).

PROPHETIC – Of, related to or characteristic of a prophet or prophecy.

INTERCESSION – Pray in favor of another.  Standing in the gap between someone or some group and God.  To act between two or more parties with intent to reconcile differences.

HOW WE INTERCEDE – First, you pray especially for the focus nations as instructed.  Seek to “enter into that nation” and see what God sees.  Ask God what He wants to show you for prayer.  Pray that prayer and then write what God has said so that the rest of us can enter into intercession with you in agreement.  This can be exceedingly powerful.

PROPHETIC MANDATES – From Websters:  an authoritative command, an authorization to act given to a representative, a commission granted by the League of Nations to a member nation for governing conquered territory.  In our case, these would be instructions from God received through prophetic intercession.

POSSESSING NATIONS – “Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.”  Psalms 2:8 (NASB).  To those who overcome, God has promised the nations.

DISCIPLE NATIONS – Jesus left instruction for Christians to make disciples of all nations, followers after Jesus.  This included their governments, cultures, populations, economies and all their needs that God can meet.

UPPER ROOM – We have chosen this term to characterize what this ministry is about.  After Jesus had been resurrected, He ascended into heaven.  Immediately follow this, the disciples did this:  “When they had entered the city, they went up to the upper room where they were staying; that is, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James. 14 These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.”  Acts 1:13-14 (NASB)  We see a need for this today.
