GOD’S BATTLE PLAN FOR AMERICA?

In today’s “What the Lord Is Saying Today,” I had to think of today’s leaders like Glenn Beck.  Gideon of the Scriptures was a very courageous man of vision and conviction.

September 23, 2010. Not all who are called will be chosen.  Just because a person is present when My army is being assembled does not mean they will be in the fight.  I want the faithful, those full of My Spirit, the skilled and courageous.  My strategies will be new to you.  Be open minded.  A sure way to failure right now is to seek old ways and methodology.  Tune your ears to the new sound.  Sharpen your sight to see in what you have seen and will see the very secrets and revelations you have overlooked until now.  Dare to declare and decree what your spiritual eyes and eyes behold.  Find the new way and path.  The truth will lead you home to victory.
Judges 7:5-7 (AMP) “And the Lord said to Gideon, with the 300 men who lapped I will deliver you, and give the Midianites into your hand.  Let all the others return every man to his home.”   Ras Robinson

Beck is a modern day Gideon in that through his 40 day challenge, he is seeking those who will pay the price to get to God or back to God as the case may be.  He is bringing people to the water’s edge to discover the real, honest to goodness warriors.  Those who are called, qualified by the Lord, and chosen will lead the way in the new season for America.

Perhaps never in the history of America has there been the extent of intercession and fasting.  Christians are being brought to the river.  God will make His choice of who He is going into battle with.

This is what happened:

Judges 7:16-21 (AMP) 16 And he divided the 300 men into three companies, and he put into the hands of all of them trumpets and empty pitchers, with torches inside the pitchers. 17 And he said to them, Look at me, then do likewise. When I come to the edge of their camp, do as I do. 18 When I blow the trumpet, I and all who are with me, then you blow the trumpets also on every side of all the camp and shout, For the Lord and for Gideon! 19 So Gideon and the 100 men who were with him came to the outskirts of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, when the guards had just been changed, and they blew the trumpets and smashed the pitchers that were in their hands. 20 And the three companies blew the trumpets and shattered the pitchers, holding the torches in their left hands, and in their right hands the trumpets to blow [leaving no chance to use swords], and they cried, The sword for the Lord and Gideon! 21 They stood every man in his place round about the camp, and all the [Midianite] army ran—they cried out and fled.

God placed Himself in charge and led them through Gideon to do the unthinkable.  No sword was used nor was it possible for the warriors to use a sword because they carried in one hand a trumpet and in the other hand a pitcher.

For America today, God is the commander-in-chief.  He is the Lord and Head of the Army.  He is the General of Generals, Presidents and governments.  They do not know what they are doing but God’s protective hand is still over America, giving time for repentance back to Him.  Pray for those in authority.

Major changes are beginning in Washington, D.C.  More will come.  Beck may not be the Gideon of today but on the other hand, he might be.  God makes the choice.

Third Great Awakening Has Officially Begun – September 11, 2010

Third Great Awakening has begun!  I heard it first from Dutch Sheets last Thursday night, September 9, in Denton, TX as the Glory of Zion Head of the Year 5771 conference.  I heard it again the next day, September 10 from Glenn Beck on the Bill O’Reilly show.  Both Dutch Sheets and Glenn Beck are saying the same thing, the Third Great Awakening has officially begun.

This means everything is about to change.  The sleeping giant of American is about to awaken from her sleep.  The Christians of American are hearing the call to righteousness and self sacrifice for the cause of Christ.

Prophets and Seers  School

CDs and DVDs now available fromSchool of Prophets and Seers

A Part of School of TyrannusFive Sessions Taught by Ras Robinson

Recorded Live at Fullness In Christ Church, Fort Worth, TX

The earliest call and spiritual gifting in my life was that of a prophet and seer.  As a teenager, I knew that I heard and saw things differently than those around me.  I grew to know the voice of the Lord speaking in all things around me.  I was a dreamer and visionary in the making.  the seed was there.  But my Methodist doctrines made no room for my experience.  Later on, becoming a Southern Baptist, there was still no room for my calling and gifting.

As life progressed, I found various spiritual streams wherein I could fish and swim.  My heart longed for mentoring and teaching.  The first real breakthrough came thorugh read John Sandford’s book “The Elijah Task.”  I discovered this book was about ME.

This School of Prophets and Seers has the purpose of helping to lay a foundation for mentoring and teaching in the prophetic and seer gifts.  I hope you find it helpful and that you will be encouraged to learn much more.

I was asked by the elders of our church to teach a class to train our prophets and prophetesses in the ministry of the prophets and seers.  My goals for the class were (1) present practical teaching with lasting benefits to class participants, (2) allow open interaction between teacher and students and (3) provide teaching outlines and notes for each class.  The class was very well attended for each of five Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 9:40.  We hope you will get these CD’s/DVD’s with teaching outlines and notes and that they will be a blessing to you.

Session 1 — Dimensions of the Prophetic  (Aug 1)
Session 2 — What Is the Spirit of Prophecy? (Aug 8)

When the Holy Spirit Comes in Power

Posted: September 10, 2010 in Uncategorized

A Word from Ras Robinson… September 10, 2010

(The CD’s/DVD’s from my personal School of Prophets and Seers are ready to ship.  Announcement coming on Monday.  You’re gonna get blessed!)

Chuck Pierce’s Glory of Zion Head of the Year Conference began last night with a “must hear” message by Dutch Sheets.  It continues today through Sunday morning.  The speaker line up is excellent.  Worship is anointed and highly charged.  We are attending.  Hope you can join us.  For more information, go to:  www.gloryofzion.org.

Dear Reader,

When the Holy Spirit comes upon you in power, you will surely know it.  Everything is changed from that moment that He visits in His glorious power.  We know from other people to whom this happened spoke in tongues, performed miracles, reached the masses, just to mention a few phenomenal things manifested.

Upon being filled with the Spirit and receiving His visitation upon me, my marriage and family changed dramatically for the good.  My eyes were opened to Scripture like never before.  He changed my employees and transformed our effectiveness and productivity in publishing.  My church was changed.

The Holy Spirit’s power began to be manifested in my life.  Never did I dream that one day I would actually cast out demons and heal the sick.  Before this happened, you could never have convinced me that one day I would be seeing to it that almost 500 poorest of the poor children would be in school and be being taught the Christian life by my hand.  But when the Holy Spirit kept coming upon me over and over, He changed everything for good.

After hearing Dutch Sheets last night share on Awakening and Reformation (You can get the message at:  www.gloryofzion.org), I believe he is right when he announces that the “Third Awakening” has already begun and that this Third Awakening will be accompanies by a massive “Reformation.”  You need to get the message.

Today, the Holy Spirit continues to visit me in power.  I am humbled to be a son of God and a Spirit-filled, Bible-believing Christian.  Somehow, I believe I am making a difference.  The most exciting thing is this.  I can’t wait for tomorrow!

Philip, You and Me
The biblical account of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch intrigues me.  Somehow I feel that I do not measure up to the heart of Philip.  But I want to. The story reminds me that there is yet something God wants me to do.  Look at this with me:

“But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip saying, “Get up and go south to the road that descends from Jerusalem to Gaza.” ( This is a desert road.)  So he got up and went; and there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure; and he had come to Jerusalem to worship, and he was returning and sitting in his chariot, and was reading the prophet Isaiah.  Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go up and join this chariot.”  Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?”  Acts 8:26-31 (NASB)

From my own struggles with the Philip call, I share this:
“A nudge continually stirs my heart.  Catch a plane, land in Kenya or some other English speaking and neighboring country in Africa.  Begin preaching, ministering to children and sharing the Gospel until the Lord says enough.  Hindering barriers are costs of such a trip, my age and need for a traveling companion to assist me.  What I like about the call of the Lord to Philip is that the Lord told him to get up and go.  The response of Philip was that he got up and went.  The full story of what happened to Philip is all but breathtaking.  My life could not be better spent than to include such an outlandish excursion with the Lord.  How about you?  Is God calling you also?  Pray about it.”

Are you ready to go?  What are your barriers?

Apostolic Acceptance

APOSTOLIC ACCEPTANCE by Ras Robinson

Wait a minute! What is all this about present-day apostles?

The issue today in apostolic circles seems to be not so much the acceptance of present-day apostles as being legitimate but rather the question is whether the apostles of today themselves will accept one another, in all the differences, as God-ordained and anointed. The future of the body of Christ worldwide may depend upon God’s revelation and apostolic acceptance in this matter.

One could argue that today we have both vertical and horizontal apostles. Examples of the vertical could be the Apostle Paul and the apostle James (half-brother of Jesus). These could be referred to as administrative apostles in that they gave oversight to people, churches and other apostles.

But on the other hand, we could present the case for horizontal apostles like the Apostle John whose sole mission seemed to be to teach and demonstrate the love of Christ. These could be referred to as relational apostles.

Let us look at some apostolic individuals and their circumstances.

BETWEEN THE APOSTLE PAUL AND THE ORIGINAL TWELVE:
The Apostle Paul could well have had difficulty receiving the Apostle Peter. Paul was a well schooled intellectual. He had the best of theological training. His lifestyle was such that he could declare that he was a Jew among Jews, perfect in regard to the law. But he gave it all up in order to follow Jesus as His disciple and Apostle. He was destined by God, through the Holy Spirit, to write most of the letters of the New Testament. Through his recorded words, he has significantly laid the foundations and extension of the body of Christ worldwide.

THE APOSTLES PETER AND PAUL:
The Apostle Peter was very different. Peter was raised in a fishing village fishing the Sea of Galilee. He was brush, strong and often emotion driven. Apparently, he received no theological training except that which he received directly from the Christ. And yet Peter is the one to receive the dream and vision with Cornelius for the opening of the gospel to the Gentiles (most of us who today believe in Jesus as our Savior). Remember that it was Peter whom Jesus chose to be the shepherd and pastor of the very first Christian church, in Jerusalem.

BETWEEN THE TWELVE APOSTLES AND THE APOSTLE JAMES (half-brother of Jesus): And yet it was the apostle James, the half-brother of Jesus, who was not among the original twelve Apostles, who was chosen to succeed the Apostle Peter as shepherd and pastor of the new Jerusalem church.

THE UNIQUE POSITION OF THE APOSTLE JOHN AMONG THE TWELVE:
One of the most intriguing characters of the original twelve Apostles was John. John refers to himself as the disciple whom Jesus loved. He was distinguished as the only Apostle who was not martyred. He apparently died of old age and natural causes, surviving, according to tradition, boiling in oil. John was the disciple of love. That was his simple message everywhere he went, even which, at advanced years while being transported to meetings on a gurney.

TODAY WE NEED A GOOD DOSE OF APOSTLES ACCEPTING AND HONORING ONE ANOTHER:
There is today some talk and buzz about who is really an apostle among apostles today even among those recognized by the Holy Spirit and those who view their work and ministry as present-day apostles. Let it be known that Paul, Peter, James (half-brother of Jesus) and John were all apostles. Each had been given a measure of grace for his gifting by Jesus and raised up by the Holy Spirit.

May I share with you about two apostles in my life personally. The first is the late Earl Kellum of Mexico. He as born and raised in my home state of Mississippi. But he spend over 50 years in Mexico, built over 200 church and related to hundreds of church in Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Nicauragua and other Latin American countries. Just before he went home to be with the Lord, he had begun to start new churches in America. Earl Kellum opened up the wide-world of hands-on mission to us and introduced some vital principle for mission-oriented ministry. He was our spiritual covering for missions until he passed away.

Another apostle in our lives, who is still living, and shall be unnamed here, was a teaching apostle of healing and loving relationships. He was used of God to lead us into aspects of healing which we had never considered. His great number of books, tapes and video recordings have impacted millions.

How then can we segregate and separate among today’s Spirit raised up and God anointed apostles to the Lord Jesus Christ. A natural tendency among apostles might be to say that the administrative apostles are either the best apostle or at the very least, is to be the one in charge of all the rest. That same tendency might be for the apostles of love and relationships to feel that they are the most important and all the other apostles should be subject to them. May it never be.

A tribute to Kathy Bohlin, an associate to Bev and me since 1977.  She and her brother Jonas Bohlin, now Senior Pastor or our church, have a deep commitment to children and youth around the world.

Kathryn (Kathy) Bohlin faithfully, ably and with great love oversees the ministry of FCM’s ministry to the poorest of the poor children and their pastors.  Her compassion daily overflows on their behalf.  They could not have a better champion on their side!Pray for her as she daily advocates for the great missions work of now sending 480 children to school for the first time. She also oversees the pastors who lead and guide these children.  We share the same goal of one day soon reaching 1,000 children.  Will you believe and dream with us?  This would be a chance for you, your church or your business to do something really big for God.  Would you please pray about it?
—————————————————–Some Children Waited for Two Years – Hoping, Praying….

Several weeks ago we told about a group of children living under the bridge who needed sponsors if they were to go to school this year.  We were already sponsoring many children in that location, but it was estimated that there were still about 15 kids who could not go to school unless they had help.  We were so excited when someone called and said they wanted to sponsor all 15 of them!!  God is so good.  Some of the children had been waiting and hoping and praying for two years, hoping they would be sponsored.  Now they are and they are very happy.

Here is a report from the pastor with pictures and notes about some of those children.

Good day Sister Kathy.

Thank you for the NEW SET of sponsored kids. The kids and their families are very happy and thankful for the opportunity. They believe that this is a “once in a lifetime chance” for them and they will really grab and treasure this forever. They want to give a huge hug to their sponsors. They want to thank their sponsors personally. They want to show the respect, love, and gratitude for the kindness and love that their sponsors are showing them.  The 15 new kids are busy. We can see that they are very excited in experiencing new things in the school. They are doing their projects, assignments, examinations, and other school activities with great excitement. They want their sponsors to know that their efforts will never be wasted.

Jhando, age 7. Wants to be a policeman.  Jhando knows that without the help of the Almighty, he will never be in school. Without the love of Christ, he will never enjoy life. He will never know the true meaning of joy! Because of your compassionate hearts, he is enjoying education. We thank you for allowing yourselves to be used by God as His tool in spreading His love for the children.

Jason, age 11.  Wants to be a policeman.   Lives with grandmother and 5 siblings.  He is the oldest of the children and does the cooking for the family.  Jason’s father died and his mother has a new family. He stays with his grandmother and the grandmother is very thankful for the support for her grandson. We could picture that Jason’s life is really hard but he has a positive outlook. He knows that God will never forsake or leave their family.

Maricelda, age 17.  Wants to be a teacher.  Had to quit school after elementary because her family had no money to send her to school. Now she can go because she has been sponsored.  Maricelda desires to thank the sponsors and the Fullness Ministry for giving her the chance to enjoy the blessing of education.  She promised that she will do her best. She promised that she will protect this blessing. She is a generous kid and God will do great things to the life of Maricelda.

Janet, age 16. Wants to be a nurse.  Janet jumped for joy because of God’s blessing.  She waited for 2 years before being included in the sponsored list. She wants to be in school and she is now.  And that is because of your generosity. This is the best feeling of being a member in the ministry of God. We get to see how God changes the lives of the people.

Juvy, age 9. Wants to be a nurse.  Juvy also waited for the sponsorship for 2 years. She wants to be a part of the Fullness Ministry.  Every time there is a gathering, she always participates, anticipating that her name will be called and she will be sponsored.  With God’s love, Juvy is now in the sponsored list and she is very thankful to the sponsors and to God.

Most sponsors of our children are only able to sponsor 1 or 2 children. We are so very grateful for them.  They are by far most of the sponsors of the children.  But there are a few individuals, churches and businesses who sponsor 10, 12 or 15 children. We even have one family that sponsors 24 children!  Maybe your family or business or church would like to sponsor a group of children and make a lot of kids really happy.  Maybe God will use you to answer the prayers of a child.

To sponsor a child is $30 a month or $360 for the year.  Whether God leads you to sponsor one child or several children, there is a child waiting for your response.  If you are interested, go to Sponsor A Child.

Maybe you do not feel you can sponsor a child or a group of children, but you wish to help with ministry to them, you can give a gift online at Ministry to Children or Feed Hungry Children.

APOSTOLIC PROLIFERATION by Ras Robinson (“What the Lord Is Saying Today”)
Ras Robinson
September 2, 2010
Have you noticed? Apostles are cropping up everywhere.

Website: www.fullnessonline.org.  For a free subscription to the brief and daily prophetic word, “What the Lord is Saying Today,”

Today, some supposed apostleships seem to know not gender, age nor traditionally recognized biblical foundations. While some are still debating the authenticity of currently recognized apostleship being recognized today. Others are elevating even those who seem to have but a sniff of the apostolic within them.

The word “proliferate” means to grow by rapid production of new parts, cells, buds, or offspring. There is nothing negative in that definition so long as the production is coming from the vine, Who is Jesus the Lord. Any other parts, cells, buds or offspring will be short-lived, if they live at all.

Following are some things to consider when assessing present-day apostles:

1. JESUS SAID THE APOSTLE IS TO BE DISTINGUISHED AS BEING LAST AND THE SERVANT OF ALL. Mark 9:35 “And sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”

2. THOSE WHOM GOD CHOOSES, AFTER THE ASCENSION OF JESUS, MAY SURPRISE US: PAUL AND BARNABAS WERE BOTH APOSTLES AFTER THE ASCENSION. Acts 14:14 “But when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of it, they tore their robes and rushed out into the crowd, crying out.”

ANDRONICUS AND JUNIAS WERE APOSTLES AFTER THE ASCENSION. Romans 16:7 “Greet Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen, and my fellow prisoners, who are outstanding among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.”

APOSTLES WERE THE FIRST TO BE APPOINTED IN THE CHURCH, AFTER PENTACOST. 1 Corinthians 12:28-29 “And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues. All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they?”

1 Corinthians 15:9-10 “For I am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.”

HAD YOU EVER CONSIDERED THAT THE SECOND LEADER OF THE CHURCH AT JERUSALEM AFTER PETER (APOSTLE OF THE LAMB JESUS) WAS JESUS’ HALF-BROTHER JAMES WHO WAS NOT ONE OF THE TWELVE? Galatians 1:19 “But I did not see any other of the apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.”

AS JESUS ASCENDED, THE APOSTLES OF THE LAMB, HAVING ALREADY BEEN RECOGNIZED BY HIM, HE SENT OTHER APOSTLES TO JOIN THEM:
Ephesians 4:11 “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers.”

GOD’S RECOGNIZED AND APPOINTED APOSTLES ARE MULTI-GIFTED. 2 Timothy 1:11 “For which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher.”

Let me give you a “heads up.” The apostles are coming, in all shapes, colors and dimensions. Some will be the real thing. Others will not be. Pray for discernment and entertain no fear. Instead, embrace what you see in God and with wise and Godly counsel from the seasoned, experienced and proven apostles already functioning in the body of Christ.

May I please recommend some good resources to you? All of these are available at: http://www.amazon.com/ MOVING IN THE APOSTOLIC – John Eckhardt APOSTLES AND THE EMERGING APOSTOLIC MOVEMENT – David Cannistraci SPHERES OF AUTHORITY – Peter Wagner APOSTLES – THE FATHERING SPIRIT – Bill Scheidler

As we consider apostles, let us for example and patter to our Lord Jesus. Hebrews 3:1 “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus.”
