“Catch the Fire” – A Word from Ras Robinson – October 9, 2010

Catch the Fire
My rear end turned numb yesterday at the Toronto Airport terminal.  Our flight to DFW was to depart at 3:15 p.m. but instead we finally boarded our flight for home at 5:20 p.m.  Very frustrating.

Waiting has never been my strength.  Our two children took “forever” to be born, it seemed to me.  To me, nine months was nine year if you follow my trail here.  It took two eternities for our first church plant to reach over 100 members, to see over 2,000 saved through rice evangelism in Chiclayo, Peru and then our sponsoring children in Philippines to grow from the first eight to now all but 500.

But the worst and best is yet to be told.  In 1974, God told me pure and simply in Hunt, TX that He would start bonfires of revival effectively all over the world, I would be a part of it and I would live to see the Holy Spirit fire sweep America and the world.  We resigned my executive job, sold ranch, farm animals and equipment along with most everything we owned in order to “catch fire” of revival.  We’ve seen some fires in Fort Worth, TX, Memphis, TN, Groton, CT,  Lakeland, FL, Baytown, TX, Toronto, Canada, Granbury, TX, and more.

I’m desperately hungry for God as never before in my life.  When John and Carol Arnot tell me that over 4,000,000 people came through Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship (now “Catch the Fire”) so far in their continuing revival, I both get excited and impatient.  The Sunday morning service there at Catch the Fire sees over 3200 in attendance.

Seeing almost 300 Partners in Harvest couples come this week to Toronto from all over the world and five continents, I am humbled and frankly envious.

I’m impatient!  Lord, do it in Fort Worth, TX.  Catch the fire here!  Then multiply it across Texas, the Southwest and across America and eventually the world.

The really, really good news is that I think Third Great Awakening has begun and is already happening in its most early stages.  If we will only believe and walk in what we see and hear obediently, it will happen.  It is time.

“Fullness in the River!” Imagine!!!

I too have been hungry for the Great Outpouring! We just moved from Lufkin, Texas to Cedar Creek Lake area, Gun Barrel City, Texas. I learned recently that this area is one of the gateways to East Texas, but also, the water in our lake is the water going to Fort Worth. This lake is the reservoir established to serve Fort Worth. We have been here for 6 months and have not found a church. I have never felt so “in limbo” in my life. The whole time I have been praying for revelation and clarification for this “dry time”. I am not even sure what I need to say to you, but maybe you need to say something to me here. What do you sense the Spirit saying about all this. (I do appreciate your word for the day.)

Hi Debbie, I have two ideas pop into my head and I am not saying “thus sayeth the Lord” on this but it might be of some help to you. First of all, I would invite you to join with us in the School of Tyrannus. We just concluded four weekend seminars: Binding and Loosing; Walking in the Prophetic; Divine Healing; and Winning Your Battles. The last was was a Weekend of Worship and I preached the final sermon on the whole series on Sunday morning. Those seminars are available to you with some interaction. There are CD’s and DVD’s.

Secondly, I did five extended sessions on early Sunday mornings on “Understanding Prophets and Seers.” Those are available also on CD/DVD.

Finally, you might tune into Glory of Zion webcasts. Chuck Pierce is a mentor of mine on revelation in particular. He offers some excellent teaching on his webcasts. Some free, some you have to pay.

All our sermons and teachings from Fullness in Christ Church here in Fort Worth are available free on our church website.

Consider gathering some new friends into you home and for a group to listen to and view some good teaching and then build fellowship with them.

Let me know if I can help further.

I have family at Cedar Creek also. I have been seeking churches in that area for them. I pray that more Fullness in CHRIST Churches will begin to be planted in Texas. Maybe, Debbie will be a part in starting 1 in Cedar Creek. I hope to take what THE LORD is teaching me at Fullness Church to the Dallas area.

Perhaps you could begin with a group that would study through the School of Tyrannus Seminars (4) we just completed this year. This is what I recommended to Debbie. It might work for you with the Dallas area as well.

me also… hungry for the Great Outpouring… I am glad I’ve read your blog lolo Ras… now I know that you’ve given up everything just for the Lord… I’m now at the point on tendering my resignation just to do like what you are doing for the Lord right now.

Hi Debbie, our website is being refurbished quite a bit and is scheduled to be available in about 30 days. You go to the present website and see what you can find. We have many teachings and articles if you can find them. The new website will have this same address when it comes on line: http://www.fullnessonline.org
